About Crimson

Welcome to Crimson, a Warhammer Online guild on the Karak-Norn (EU) server.

Our army strives to become an elite vanguard of Order's forces, at the forefront of WAR's RvR and PvE challenges alike. Wherever we commit ourselves in open RvR, we seek to help push the Order campaign using our own tactics, setups and ventrilo-coordinated roaming groups, as well as running daily scenario premades to put our latest plans into practice. We’re no less active in PvE progression, boasting 3 full-clear Vulture Lord groups and regularly farming the Eternal Citadel with our guild warband.

We are a tightly-knit team of seasoned, friendly gamers who love the thrill of tactical challenges and hard-earned victories almost as much as the jovial banter that surrounds it. As experienced players with years together at the top of World of Warcraft raiding, we appreciate the need for mutual trust and cooperation, not just within the guild but with the other Order forces of Karak-Norn. Crimson is a family, many years in the making, and we look forward to welcoming more to the fold.

3 Crimson Groups clearing the Tomb of the Vulture Lord!

It's taken a lot of work and sweat, and the learning curve was steep - but we've finally achieved it! With three distinct groups now in a position to farm ToVL on a regular basis, Crimson is displaying a breadth of talent unique in Europe. Congratulations to everyone involved in this push to defeat the very hardest PvE content on offer - it yielded tonight our first 2 Full Tyrants (Redek and Aenalion), may they be the first of many!

A warm welcome to our new members!

Please join me in extending the warmest welcome to our new members! In most cases these names are hardly new to us - after fighting all summer side by side in the darkest days for Order, holding the line against the seemingly relentless onslought, many of these players have become close friends and a regular presence both in our warbands and in our Ventrilo chat. It's a joy to fight side by side with them again under a common banner - here's to many more victories together in times to come!

Crimson-spawned Colossus DOWN! (10-Jan-10)

The new year kicks off with a bang - at last we've done it! In what seemed like an impossible feat due to limited numbers and last-minute call-ins, we made a quick try on the Colossus after clearing the Tomb of the Vulture Lord, with supporting warbands from Red Guard and VII. In a tight race against the clock due to a slow start, we ultimately managed to down the world boss with barely 20 seconds to spare on the timer! Unfortunately owing to a glitch that occurs when not all 6 from the VL clear are present, the Pages of the Liber Mortis ended up going to non-Crimson members. Nevertheless, this is an outstanding achievement and bodes well for future Colossus kills - and Legendary kit for our people!
